Moby Group confirms a small number of employees have tested positive for COVID-19. We have been preparing for this as an inevitable outcome of what is a global pandemic. Moby Group will continue our vigilance protecting staff whilst continuing to inform, educate and entertain our audiences.
Beginning early February, Moby Group implemented a number of measures to protect employees, visitors and associates. Following WHO guidelines, these measures include:
- Encouraging home-based work unless essential
- Where office attendance is required, break up of workday to allow smaller number of staff in the facilities at the same time
- Maintain distancing
- Use of face masks
- Keeping up hand hygiene with additional washing facilities and hand sanitisers
- Temperature monitoring
- Daily schedule of facilities disinfection with WHO recommended cleaning products
- All Moby Group employees were educated and encouraged to be alert for symptoms as advised by WHO
Moby Group’s first employee COVID-19 case showed symptoms last week and began immediate self-isolation. Testing confirmed positive for the virus. Moby Group conducted aggressive testing of all workplace contacts and of the 70 tested, 14 were confirmed positive. All of these other positive cases were all asymptomatic, highlighting how important it is that we all continue to remain vigilant in containing the spread of COVID-19.
Moby Group is open and transparent with our employees and community in sharing incidents of infection. This is vital to contain COVID-19, and minimize risks for all citizens. We will continue to support all staff who have tested positive, including home isolation strategies to protect vulnerable family members.
